Check out our mini-interviews with Rune and the other burn riders here.
Following the celebration of Rune's 25th Anniversary back a few weeks ago, we've got a brand new Rune video. This time we chat to Rune about the place where it all started for him, the Fædellpark in Copenhagen. It's an excellent insight into the man's mind, and features some retro early-years footage, which is always neat. Check it out above out on our Vimeo in its full glory.

Legendary Danish skateboarder Rune Glifberg is the team founder and mentor for the new Burn Units skate team, heading up an increasingly awesome action sports line-up. Put simply, Rune is one of the true greats of the sport and also one of the most super-stylish and progressive skateboarders ever to have put two feet on a board.
Of course, you should know all about Rune by now! But just in case you don't, here's a brief biography of the man for you to get stuck into.
Rune was born and raised in the Danish capital of Copenhagen, where his love for skating kick-flipped off at the age of 11. A quarter-century later and Rune is widely regarded as one of the world's best transition skateboarders, and with good reason. He took his first European contest back in 1990, turned pro in 1992 and has been an ever-present member of the skateboarding elite since, competing successfully in the biggest and best competitions: X Games, Gravity Games, Mystic Cup, to name just some.
Rune had this to say about joining Burn: "Adding Burn Energy to my list of sponsors is an honor and a privilege. It opens up new doors and opportunities for my career, and I couldn't be happier with my decision to join the Burn Units skate team."
Keep your eyes on this profile page for all of the Rune Glifberg updates. There'll be a lot of them.
